If you took the time to look at this site, you probably know me anyway. But I had
to make a page about me just in case. After all, you are reading it right now, so
it must not have been too much of a waste of time. And now the question that drives
us; the question that brought you here:
WHO IS JOHN GALT DANNY WASIELEWSKI?
I am Danny Wasielewski, that fine looking chap at the top of this page. I was born
on May 31, 1984, at Collinsville Regional Hospital in Collinsville, OK. Although
I spent my early years in the Tulsa area, I grew up mostly in Yukon, OK, just west
of Oklahoma City. I graduated from Southwest Covenant Schools in Yukon, OK, and
I currently attend the University of Oklahoma, where I am majoring in Engineering
Physics.
Well, that is what I have done; as for who I am:
There are many labels that can be applied to me. First and foremost I am a
Christian, not in the sense that some schools are "Christian schools" or in the
sense that America is a "Christian nation," but in the sense that I am identified
with Christ. He has taken my place, and I have taken His name. Another label I
proudly wear is Choleric. So if you are ever unsure about something I say, you
can just adopt the view, because I am probably right. I am an extrovert, and my
favorite thing to do is spend time with close friends, although I love meeting
new people too. Meeting people has never been my strongest point; I am not good
with faces, and I often leave a bad first impression, but after that I love getting
to know them. You could say that I'm a bit of a nerd too. Socially, I am far
from nerdy, but after all I am a physics major, I spend plenty of time at the
computer, and I am a gadget geek (I have to have a Palm Pilot, a GPS, a digital
camera, a USB hard drive, etc.). As well as these, I am a librarian, a
self-taught philosopher, a musician, a poet, and a photographer.
I have a tendency to collect strange hobbies; I guess you could say that's a hobby
of mine. Most recently, I began speedcubing,
or solving the Rubik's cube as quickly
as possible. Another thing I enjoy is called
Geocaching, using a GPS to find small boxes of trinkets hidden by other Geocachers.
I am a connoisseur of fine foods and beverages. I enjoy drinking gourmet root beer, and you may often find me driving to Tulsa for dinner at my favorite
restaurant.
I do have several normal hobbies though, such as listening to music, occasionally
reading, playing guitar, and watching movies, particularly foreign or independent
films.
One more thing: I love lists, and I feel one coming up right now, seeing as it
applies to the theme of this page.
