slackdome

so, i definitely stayed up until 5 this morning doing absolutely nothing 'productive'. have to say, it's pretty amazing the way i can manage to justify things in my mind, such as "i've had a really hard week, i just need to relax and hang out for a while." note to self, this does not include things like staying up 'til 5 when you have a 9:30 class the next morning. i left my room around 6:30 to go to the cafeteria, and when i return (mind you, only to grab a jacket so i could head off to crossroads with chris and andrea) i had already been away from my computer for seven and a half hours. how ridiculous is that? *sigh* it definitely made me feel like a slacker.

anyhow...i'm not sure if anyone actually reads this...probably a good thing seeing as i don't have a particularly interesting life. i know it's hard to believe, but i'm not exactly a drama queen. however, life this semester is fluctuating between really good and really stressful, not that the two have to be mutually exclusive...but taking 19 hours this semester is much more challenging then the 20 i took last semester. i think it's mostly due to the fact that they're all math/science/engineering classes. i'm starting to realize that getting a degree in engineering is in fact more difficult than getting one in certain other areas. it's actually mostly my wretched physics ii class that is a killer. homework takes so much time in that class since i don't really learn the material from lecture. it's kind of a cyclical problem, because i don't exactly read the book before lecture. need to work on that.

...lost train of thought...

got a tour of climbed buildings on campus from chris last night walking back from crossroads. it was rather amusing to hear his description of 'climbing' with moyni...

no home football game saturday...kind of weird...we play kansas next weekend for homecoming, apparently kansas isn't horrible this year. also kind of weird...

anyhow, this is a really convoluted train of thought, since i'm sitting in a computer lab before class, reading other people's xangas...wasting more time...

other cool fact: melissa moe is coming to visit ou next friday. would be really cool if she came here. need to start convincing her...

going to stop rambling now...
