GAS ADSORPTION IN NANOSTRUCTURED MATERIALS

We are replacing our manual high-pressure gas adsorption apparatus with a computer-controlled unit. We will modify our manual adsorption apparatus but we still need to order components and add in the modifications to the unit. When configured the experiment will involve the following:

Gas adsorption on nanomaterials, such as carbon nanotubes, aerogels, MCM-41 and larger mesoporous zeolite-like material. We have already built such equipment under our other research work.

Computer-controlled gas adsorption and storage experiments: We have built an adsorption apparatus including chambers and expansion valves with thermostat units for measuring gas adsorption in nanomaterials. We need to add a computer interface to carry out automation during running.
